Russell Brand’s rebranding project introduced the Modern Maverick identity, heavily influenced by a brand archetype customized for Russell. The scope included creative strategy, Rebel Sage archetype development, logo refresh, full branding suite, screen graphics, photography direction, Brand Bible, social and layout assets, and merch applications for his podcast and Locals community.

The overall look and feel draws from raw, lived experience. Real life is busy, dirty, colorful, worn, and brutally honest, much like Russell. The visual story embraces imperfections and vulnerability, showing candid, unpolished moments in sticky spaces and dusty rooms where beautiful and broken things coexist. Nothing is staged. The photography captures life exactly as it exists, creating a tactile and raw aesthetic that reflects Russell’s honest personality, rebellious spirit, and spiritual depth.
