while i hate to jump on the "ooo, she screwed up the national anthem" band wagon of haters, as a proud citizen and lover of this country i can't help it, man. i'm sitting here stewing and I know i won't feel better until i rant: messing up the national anthem is like messing up "happy birthday" and I don't care to hear what her excuse is. nervous? then quit singing and go flip burgers for a living. you are a professional and you're an American - that performance was a total disgrace.
